"I'm Just". These are the words I'm hearing all too often. Whether it's women craving real authentic self or girls wanting to be everything they've dreamed of being, these powerful words are like road blocks to their reality. "I'm just not good at...", "I'm just not able to...", "I'm just not meant to be...", stop signs and red lights on the road to being your true extraordinary self.
"Yes I am", "Yes I can", "Yes I will" statements give us license to "be". They give us the power to be exactly as we were meant to be. They are words that give us the freedom to achieve everything we were meant to achieve and live authentically as our true self.
Our mind is a muscle, we train it very early on not to trust our instincts of being amazing, being successful, being extraordinary. Once we have awareness of this behavior, we have the ability to retrain the muscle with new messages. It is through positive messaging that we change our thoughts and our feelings, then our actions and our reality.
We will all have these negative thoughts, we don't need to block them, we need to learn how to filter them through. We recognize the thoughts, tell ourselves it's not our truth, and replace it with a positive thought. This process will allow positive thinking to become our norm. I say norm, because we cannot have expectations that we'll never have doubtful thoughts, it's not realistic. What is realistic is having power to be all we were meant to be by retraining our brain how to think.
